Surgical Technology
Surgical Techs work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other surgical personnel to deliver patient care before, during and after surgery. Your daily work includes direct patient involvement in surgery as well as many pre- and post-operative responsibilities.

Pre- and Post-op: creating a sterile field, prepping the operating room for surgery, setting up surgical instruments, scrubbing and gowning, tearing down the operating room, post-operative patient care.

Surgery: surgically prep the point of incision, passing instruments to the surgeon, keeping track of materials used during surgical procedures.
