School of Business
Business Administration Accounting / Marketing / Management
Few fields can take you as far or give you as many career choices as the field of business. Students who choose to study Business Administration within the School of Business have the option of concentrating in accounting, marketing, or management.
In today's business environment, stricter accounting and auditing regulations make job prospects plentiful for individuals with a background in accounting.
For those students with an eye for presentation, who like to stay on top of business and consumer trends, consumer demand, and consumer products and services, our Marketing concentration can be a great choice.
Our Business Management program gives students the widest exposure to the world of business with the flexibility to study in two ways: on campus or online. You choose the class format and schedule that best fits your lifestyle and learning style.
Hands-on application of business skills — time is spent practicing business fundamentals and decision making, not just discussing them.
Business students gain hands-on experience managing a mobile coffee and snack cart, PTI's Cup-a-Cabana. They are responsible for ordering inventory, monitoring profit and loss, promoting daily specials, and forecasting sales and seasonal trends.
State-of-the-industry software like Quickbooks Pro, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Instructors who worked or continue to work in the field understand what it takes to be successful.
Membership in professional organizations like ABG (Alpha Beta Gamma International Business Honor Society) and AMA (American Marketing Association).
Opportunity to participate in the Walt Disney World® college internship program.
An advisory board of business professionals guides curriculum so you learn what you need.
A full-time Career Services department assists in internship and job placement in PA, OH, WV, and all over the U.S. We have great industry connections.
