PTI creates blocks of class schedules in mornings, afternoons or evenings which accommodates your busy schedule, enhancing part-time job opportunities and promoting academic efficiency and consistency.
All associate degree and many certificate students have the opportunity to experience an industry internship or clinical experience. This further enhances the hands-on experience students enjoy across all programs and builds a strong portfolio.
PTI also supports students with outside-of-the-classroom assistance by connecting daily with PTI instructors and students in the PTI Tutoring Center and offering the PTI Writing Center.
Probably the most important advantage for students is the assistance provided by the Career Services department in unlimited job search and career assistance. Students can explore employment opportunities on a local, regional and national level through PTI’s network of contacts. Through Career Connect, an online career search and recruiting tool, graduates are matched with employers nationwide. Free alumni brush-up courses keep graduates current with new technology and graduates are offered lifetime job placement assistance.
