Medical Assisting
Medical assistants work directly with patients performing both clinical and administrative tasks. Duties can vary by employer but you can expect to work alongside doctors, nurses, office managers and other medical professionals.
Patient responsibilities: greeting patients, checking vital signs, drawing blood,
giving injections, removing sutures, prepping patients, taking EKGs
Office responsibilities: scheduling appointments, coordinating tests, ordering procedures, handling charts, sterilizing equipment

Schedule – When will I be in class?
- Just 21 months to earn your associate in science degree in Medical Assisting – including your 3-month industry internship.
