Graphic Design

Graphic Design

Graphic Design is problem solving - the designer organizes words and pictures into a given area to make a clear, positive graphic statement. It may take the form of a print advertisement, book cover, package, DVD/CD cover, poster - virtually anything from a web site to a highway billboard.

A Graphic Designer is part of a team that conceptualizes and creates whenever an illustration, a design or a printed work is used to tell a story or sell a product. The designer is in every sense as much an artist as the painter or sculptor.
