Computer Programmers write the detailed instructions (known as software or applications) that list in logical order the steps the machine must follow to organize data, solve a problem, or perform another task.
Programmers work from descriptions prepared by systems analyst who have carefully studied the task that the computer system is going to perform. In some organizations, the computer programmer is responsible for both system analysis and programming.
