PTI students got to sample a new intense chewing gum product at the Great Gum Giveaway event held Friday on campus. The event was the brainchild of instructor Mevalee Spain and her business class.

PTI students Danielle Lohr and Tyler Pugh headed the event and distributed hundreds of packets of new Wrigley 5 Focus gum to fellow students. A taste test was held with students selecting which flavor - Spearmint or Peppermint- they preferred.
“The students did a wonderful job setting up a professional taste testing event” said Instructor Mev Spain. “They learned a great deal about the challenge of creating product displays, attracting interested customers, and dealing with the public”
The final result was nearly even with Spearmint edging out Peppermint by only a few votes for this intensely flavored gum. The highlights of the event were edited by multimedia technologies student Raymar Glanton. Watch his video and share the fun.
