PTI faculty judges were impressed with the range of work submitted to the 2014 Art and Design Scholarship Competition. After careful consideration, winning entries from 21 students were selected as this year's winners. The students submitting them receive a PTI partial tuition scholarship that can be applied toward their college education beginning July 2014, October 2014 or January 2015 in these amounts:

$5,000 First place
$3,000 Second place
$1,000 Third place
$500 Honorable mention (Fourth and Fifth place)

The judges noted the students' ability to amplify the senses in their creative works. Comments include "effective use of negative space," "a thousand little scenarios all happening at once, this is quite a painstaking accomplishment," "it seems buoyant, and ready to take flight," "the tactile aspect is attractive, I wonder what it feels like to touch?" and "great balance and simplicity."

Obviously all of these students have a talent that can take them far should they elect a design career. Congratulations.
