South Hills Pet Rescue and Rehabilitation Resort Selects a Doggone Good Logo Design

When the South Hills Pet Rescue organization decided to turn non-profit and expand services and outreach, its dedicated volunteers, including Marisa Haney, who is a Pittsburgh Technical Institute business and hospitality instructor, wanted to rebrand and launch a new business identity. With limited design resources, the shelter turned to PTI's School of Design for help and inspiration. Graphic Design students tackled the challenge by learning as much as possible about the organizaton and how it rehabilitates, fosters and places animals matching them with loving owners and families thus saving them from euthanasia. Although two PTI students were selected as design competition winners, everyone involved won through the experience.
