AASI-Stands for the the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. AASI is a way for snowboard instructors to put forth a safe, and fun lesson in which students can learn and enjoy the sport nationwide.
Airdog-A snowboarder who jumps most of the time and is most interested in airial tricks.
Bail-A term used to describe crashing or falling.

Goofy-Riding with your less dominate foot in front, backwards from a normal stance.
Heelside Edge-This is the edge of the board that is closest to the rider's heels.
Joey-Someone who is a beginner skier/snowboarder and has a gap between his or her goggles and helmet.
kookoo-Doing something that is a bit crazy but awesomely entertaining.
Milags or Milagro-A word used to describe something that is really cool.
MOFO-A ski instructor.
Nectar-Totally Sweet, awesome, insane.
Noob-New Boarder.
Ollie-Is one of the most basic tricks in snowboarding. It can be used as the basis for other tricks, or just to pop the board off the ground.
Plank-A snowboard.
Rachets-Traditional style of bindings.
Rippin Flake-Coined in 2006 by Andy McPherson, rippin flake is a general term to describe all snowboarding.
Scorch Muffins-The ultimate bad ending to anything.
Session-A name for a certain interval in which one snowboards.
Sharking Torpedo-a crash when you know that it's going wrong, and you eventually let yourself fall to the ground.
Shred Sled-Another word for your snowboard.
Slopes-another word for the mountain.
Smud-Brown, muddy snow found on very warm days.

SP-Ski Patrol.
Tight-A term used to express extreme joy.
Toe to Toe turns-The term for the action that happens when hopping 180s between the transition of turns using nothing but the toeside edge of the board.
Toeside Turn-Lift up front heel and press toe down, move knee over foot, end up pressing all toes down.
Tuck-Low wind resistance crouched position used to go faster.
