Help for Haiti

If you want to help the people of Haiti as they struggle to recover from two recent devastating earthquakes, Mark Bellemare, Bryan Mock and Roxy Snodgrass have been working with Brothers Brother Foundation and Weirton First Church of the Nazarene to provide PTI students and employees with a way to get involved.

PTI is purchasing 5-gallon buckets to be filled with donated relief supplies. A list of requested items follows. The buckets act as ready-made shipping containers and are reusable for water, cleaning, sanitation and storage purposes in Haiti. Students and employees are asked to donate items on the list. Can’t get to the store? Sponsor a bucket for $35 and Mark will shop for the items to fill it. Monetary donations can be given to Mark, checks made payable to PTI referencing Haiti Relief Fund on the memo line.

The goal is to complete 100 buckets in one week, to be packed and shipped the first week of February, with an additional 200 buckets shipping by the end of the month. See Mark if you’d like to help sort supplies and pack buckets on February 2 and 3 and/or for the second round at the end of February.
