CITIZEN’S POLICE ACADEMY OF ALLEGHENY AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES, Oakdale, PA -- The PA State Police in partnership with Pittsburgh Technical Institute presents the Citizen’s Police Academy of Allegheny and Washington County (CPA). The CPA is a 11-week program designed to expose selected Allegheny and Washington County citizens to the world of the police officer, the types of training officers receive and general law enforcement concepts and responsibilities. It is a forum for understanding and communications between citizens and police officers.
