Belly Buster Competition
The International Federation of Competitive Eating has nothing on PTI. Last year our Belly Buster Burger champ ate his way to a 7 minute and 53 second win. This year he broke his own record finishing in 4 minutes and 51 seconds -- but took only third place! This year's winner ate a monster 1.5 lb. burger with cheese and a small order of fries in just 2 minutes and 5 seconds. That's some big time eating.
The current Bid Daddy Burger record according to the IFOCE is held by Sonya Thomas, who ate a 9 pound cheeseburger in 27 minutes, 0 seconds on January 21, 2006.
Joey Chestnut outdogged reigning champ Kobayashi at the recent Nathan's Fourth of July contest. Maybe a new champ is sitting in one of PTI's classrooms. We'll find out when PTI introduces its Hot Dog Eating Championship later this year.
