Giving to PTI

The Bridges to Success Scholarship Program is a fund that serves students by providing scholarships that help them to remain enrolled, pay for books and supplies, and assist with their tuition. Any company, organization, or individual can contribute.
Each contribution, large or small goes directly to help students. Your contribution may help a student pursue their professional dream, inspire a first generation college student to graduate or give a student the support they need to succeed.
Donors to the Bridges to Success will be recognized by the college and be invited to donor functions.

The Foundation
All funds made to the Bridges to Success are deposited with The Pittsburgh Foundation which was established In 1945 and is one of the nation's oldest community foundations. The Pittsburgh Foundation holds all scholarship funds and distributes them to PTI as needed. All funds are used directly for student scholarships for tuition, books, supplies, or housing expenses.
Donations are tax deductible. The Pittsburgh Foundation is a nonprofit community foundation and a public charity and contributors will receive the maximum tax benefits permitted by law.
There is no minimum donation. Any contribution amount will be appreciated.

Creating a Legacy
If you would like to form a specific legacy scholarship or a company sponsored scholarship, PTI  will work with you and the Pittsburgh Foundation to create the scholarship according to your wishes. You can specify the qualifications and directives of your scholarship fund if you would like.

“It has been my vision that PTI be totally student centered and focused on transforming lives and building futures. The Bridges to Success Student Educational Scholarship Program creates the opportunity to support students in their educational dreams and career aspirations. When students succeed, their lives are inspired and their opportunities become endless."

— Gregory DeFeo, President of PTI
