At AACA, our recipe for success blends classic culinary fundamentals with modern interpretations of popular continental cuisines. This fusion of focus is designed to prepare motivated students for a diverse and growing range of careers in kitchens and hospitality institutions across America and around the world.

As a student at AACA, you will hone your skills under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed Chef Norman Peter Hart. A member of the American Culinary Federation, Chef Hart has been inducted into the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque. In 2003, he was appointed by the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs des Etas-Unis and was one of the first five recipients of the coveted medallion form the Conseil d'Honneur des Etas-Unis.

Chef Hart is a Certified Executive Chef, a Certified Culinary Educator and a member of the American Academy of Chefs. He is the recipient of countless industry awards and achievements.

Mardi Gras at AACA

It was just like Bourbon Street in the kitchens of the American Academy of Culinary Arts on Saturday February 21. Chef Hart and his students hosted the Chaine Des Rotisseurs society for a Mardi Gras gourmet brunch that would make any gourmand from the Big Easy proud.
