Meet Chef Amanda Flesch

Chef Instructor Amanda Flesch brings award winning credentials to her position at AACA.  Flesch  has won two gold medals and a bronze professional medal from the American Culinary Federation.   At the start of her career she placed first in the region and third  at nationals for Best Teen Chef.
Since then she has taught at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and worked at the most elite club in Pittsburgh, The Duquesne Club. Here she worked side by side,  with renowned Executive Chef Keith Coughenour who has not only been on the culinary Olympics team but coached the 1996-2003 teams.
Chef Flesh also has extensive experience as a food stylist working with a number of national brands.

PTI has announced plans for The American Academy of Culinary Arts (AACA), where great chefs prep. The academic philosophy of the college’s new culinary school is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge, skills practice and kitchen experience to become the “great American chef.”
